Pride for Families
What makes you proud of your family members? asked by Lastheart.
This was the first question I have asked in Hub Pages. It was a fun experience and very heart touching. I was about to close the question and I wanted to select a best answer. All of them are very personal and I appreciate the time these Hubber's took answering, making me want to hug them by feeling their profound pride also.
Being proud of others is defined as a pleasurable feeling or satisfaction, regarded as highly or creditable to oneself. Each answer is unique and I wanted to treasure them and leave them stamped in this hub, to share them with every reader in the same order I found them. But HubPages rules found that it was duplicate content and I will have to play with their rules. I invite you to check their heart touching answers.
Hard work
Hard work
Froggy213's family pride is "hard work".
That is a moral value gone with the wind these days. Kids are being used to get things too easy. I remember the "allowance" day, it was our pay day, when my parents were raising us. Things were cheaper and surely gained. Froggy213 is my husband and I love to see his eyes lightening up when he admires his kid's way of gaining their life.
Now-days people reject hard work, because the payment is too low for the effort invested. The fact is that many undocumented people will take the job. There is honor in every honest job!

What more value than seeing our father, the head of the family progress in front of us. It is not about words only, but what we do with our daily actions that counts most.
We, human beings have a bad habit under the sun. The bad habit of bad memories staying there, somewhere in our hearts like a thorn. That is why I invite you to read Ciel's pride for her father; very inspiring! Today her pride for him blossoms, spreading flowers of dignity.

Angela Blair is blessed for having a wonderful experience with her brother that has filled her heart with pride. This is another inspiring true story, with so much human value because of her brother's personality.
Not only our own children are looking at us. Our siblings, cousins and neighbors have their eyes upon us too.
Hebrews 12:1"Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, "

Never give up
Never giving up
This boy has my heart..."never giving up"!!! I hope his parents know how he feels about them. None of us are perfect. It is said so many times that when we have children, instructions are not included; we will make mistakes. But what will give birth to pride is the times and ways of standing up again and to keep on marching. Believe me that when a family stays up together even when mountains and oceans divide them...what was experienced, will never die.

Caring for each other
Caring for each other
Simple things are weird these days...if it is not fancy it is out of style. Young people that are able to appreciate one way or the other, that in the daily actions, the union of a family is built. That surely means that they have a heart filled with appreciation; just like my friend rlaha.
It is so sad to give and in response get greedy attitudes. Many people just see a half empty glass and others will see it almost filled.
Proverbs 30:8 "Keep deception and lies far from me, Give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the food that is my portion. "

Reflecting Jesus
Reflecting Jesus
Tonipet is a wonderful person. I have not met her in person but I already have love for her; perhaps, because she reflects Jesus which is her pride. Many parents today are wonderful and for some reason after raising their children they reflect other values...whoa, it is scary! Where were they all that time when real moral values were acted out?
My dear sister in Christ, Tonipet, has gained the fruits of her garden; the garden that blossomed in her because she decided to follow Jesus and make Him the head of her family. Wonderful!

Boundaries
Boundaries
Genesis 2:24
"For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh. "
It is completely normal to have an empty nest. Better yet with the acknowledgment that we spread the good seed in their hearts. Our legacy of spiritual support will stand stronger than any material necessity. Edhan's pride should flourish in our hearts, inspiring in us acceptance just because we did what we had to do when we had to do it.

Unconditional love
Unconditional love
The last, and not the least: what this world needs...those four letters which make the difference, "LOVE". We say we love, but are we waiting for "something"? Unconditional is without conditions. We love with other words after love, such as: "yes but"..."only if"..."I will when"...
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." God...The Lord gave us the biggest example of true unconditional love.
Ritambhara O, give your parents a hug in my name because they gave you what the world is missing.
